Overview
From Rio to Paris: An eclectic program of solo and duo compositions including works by Ian Seaborn, Stephen Whittington, Napoleon Coste, Fernando Sor, Carlo Domeniconi and Dilermando Reis.
Renowned for their innovative programming and collaborations, Lee Song-Ou and Oliver Fartach-Naini have been playing together since 1991, when both were students of American guitarist and composer Laurie Randolph at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
In addition to their highly acclaimed guitar duo CDs ‘Movement For Two Guitarists, Frutti de Mare’ and 25 they have recorded over 20 albums for numerous record labels around the world. These include their pioneering trio collaborations for the CD ‘Winter Journey’ with Richard Yongjae O’Neill (viola) for Deutsche Grammophon and the CD ‘Canto Antigo’ with violinist Zia Hyunshu Shin for Credia Classics (Universal).
