The McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast café scene continues to thrive throughout the region. If you are in need of a caffeine hit or just a little bit of a ‘pick me up’, the good news is that there are great cafés serving amazing, locally-roasted coffee together with your brekkie, lunch or brunch. A big part of any good café is having the right vibe - think retro, beach and coastal, botanic and sustainable, artsy, lycra loving, organic, rustic and of course, relaxing vineyard vistas to name a few.

Most cafes offer a seasonal menu, inspired by the local produce and almost all have a specialty dish. Here’s some of the local favourites:
