Here's what’s open in McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast today. A great way to support local.

Peddling the trails

There’s a diverse range of superb trails that you can explore throughout the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast region to satisfy your riding appetite.

The Shiraz Trail from McLaren Vale to Willunga and back is a ‘must-do’ for riders and walkers who want to experience the tastes of great cafés, restaurants, cellar doors, and breweries via detours along this 14 km round trip.

Southern Veloway

For the more adventurous, there’s the Southern Veloway offering a 30,km round trip on a sealed shared path running alongside the Southern Expressway. You are well above the Expressway and mostly surrounded by native vegetation, with great vantage points offered along the route, where you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the hills, valley and coast. Make sure you say hi to the locals as you pass by, who you will likely encounter on their morning or evening walks.
