Overview
With a deep commitment to regenerative agriculture and soil health, Hither and Yon takes a holistic approach to sustainability - nurturing the land as much as the vines. Their philosophy encompasses climate-appropriate grape varieties, biodiversity management, the restoration of native corridors, and low-impact viticulture practices. The result is a collection of vibrant, expressive wines that celebrate the character of McLaren Vale - best experienced at their cellar door in the historic village of Willunga.
Located in the town's original 1860s butcher shop, the cellar door blends historic charm with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Original slate floors and limestone walls offer a cosy retreat by the fireplace in winter, while the sunlit courtyard becomes a favourite in the warmer months.
Guests can enjoy a curated seasonal wine flight featuring five sustainably grown wines or stay a little longer to enjoy a glass of wine fireside or in the adjoining courtyard.
Hither and Yon's passion is to craft artisan wines with a lighter footprint - better for the earth, and better for you.

The original Willunga butcher's shop was built in the 1860s, but the cellar door still retains its local slate flooring and limestone walls. The cellar door is styled to reflect the artisan approach to growing and making our wine from vine to table, making you feel at home.
