Home to some of South Australia’s oldest towns, McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast is an amazing region to experience the yesteryear and unearth historic treasures.
The Heritage Trail takes in the charming 1880's street scapes and heritage buildings of Clarendon and Kangarilla, to the iconic horse-changing station at Reynella and the old courthouse and slate museum at Willunga. In fact, there is a link to the past at just about every McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast village…be it a building, historic monument, road name, bridge, creek, and more.
There are histories and mysteries waiting to be uncovered about the region’s past and one of the best ways is to visit a City of Onkaparinga library. There are six dotted throughout the region at Noarlunga, Seaford, Woodcroft, The Hub (Aberfoyle Park), Willunga, and Aldinga.
