Join Alan Varney for the inaugural release of Varney Wine's Single Site Grenaches. Be the first to taste through these Single Vineyard expressions and let Alan share the story of their inspiration, conception, and creation.
This is a project decades in the making, and Varney Wine's first release of these single site Grenache wines from some of McLaren Vale's most distinguished Old Vine plantings. Extremely limited in production and available by allocation only, this is an exceedingly rare opportunity to take a deep dive into these exceptional wines.
The experience will include barrel tastings from many of McLaren Vale's most sought after vineyards from batches slowly developing in barrel. Alan will talk through the process of component selection for the upcoming vintage blends, and reveal some of the secrets around the art of blending. Then join Alan for a winemaker led Masterclass, exploring past vintages of Grenache, various Grenache based blends, a few special surprise wines; all followed by the unveiling and official launch of the 2025 Single Site Grenaches.
