The Whimsical Weekend is a two-night McLaren Vale escape for grown-ups who haven't quite grown out of curiosity, play and wonder.
Limited to just 8 guests, this one-off experience brings together premium accommodation, food and wine, e-bikes, e-TukTuks, art and a healthy dose of the unexpected.
The Whimsical Weekend begins on Friday with time to settle into McLaren Vale and enjoy an evening at your own pace. After breakfast on Saturday, the whimsy begins in earnest with an e-TukTuk journey along the Fleurieu coast to Port Willunga, where guests can transform into mermaids – or embrace another suitably whimsical persona – for a professional photoshoot beside the iconic jetty ruins. After time by the sea, it's back for a late lunch at Pearl, followed that evening by pizza and a movie under the stars.
On Sunday, guests swap TukTuks for some of SA eBikes' more unusual e-bikes and journey through McLaren Vale. The day includes a specially created experience at d'Arenberg featuring the Alternate Realities Museum, a playful wine and food tasting and the Salvador Dalí exhibition, before continuing to Somos for a wine experience and finishing at a surprise cellar door.

Expect beautiful places, excellent food and wine, a few surprises and plenty of permission to do something simply because it's fun.
